JavaScript is proving to be the language of choice for the modern web and wrapped in the simplicity of jQuery makes it easy to develop feature rich web applications. jQuery is a fast, small, and feature-rich JavaScript library. It makes things like HTML document traversal and manipulation, event handling, animation, and Ajax much simpler with an easy-to-use API that works across a multitude of browsers.
This presentation will focus on jQuery but we will take some time to look how the other emerging JavaScript technologies fit together and ways jQuery can be used as a tool backed by ColdFusion.
